Participate in the one-day, high-fidelity simulation MOCA course offered by the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia (SPA) as an add-on activity to the SPA 37th Annual Meeting will fulfill the Part IV requirement of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program.
The Society for Pediatric Anesthesia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Society for Pediatric Anesthesia designates this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
LEARNER OBJECTIVES:
-Offer a contextual learning opportunity to assess and improve their practice in areas such as crisis management in a simulation setting at an ASA-endorsed activity.
-Realistically recreate challenging clinical cases to allow participants to problem‐solve in a manner that is similar to actual clinical experience.
-Provide an opportunity for physicians to improve their skills in Practice-Based Learning and Improvement.
-Provide an opportunity for physicians to refresh and refine Teamwork, Communication and crisis resource management skills with colleagues from various types of clinical practices.
