It is a policy statement of this Society, that we as an organization should be opposed to any interference with a physician/patient relationship due to the corporate practice of medicine.

The TSA will support the general concept that whenever anyone goes out to establish a network they need to start with establishing base physicians contracts before they go after hospital contracts.

The TSA supports the principle that teaching institutions should be able to be compensated fairly for services rendered when an anesthesiologist is supervising two residents, as a matter of principal for all payment methodology by third party payors.
